Hello, have installed faircrack today and followed all steps etc. Have installed the bleeding edge drivers and can select them using the Wifi driver switcher applet and successfully connect to a wifi however when I use faircrack I have problems.
Basically if I go into Monitor page the disable option for Monitor Mode is greyed out and pressing enable doesn't seem to do anything. As for Injection it has both buttons available enable/disable however selecting them doesn't seem to do anything.
So if I then switch to access points and try scanning nothing happens. Even though using built in wifi selector I can see access points. Any ideas?
also make sure you have all the programs install
> PyQt
> Sudser
> Aircrack-ng
> John the Ripper
> Bleeding-edge packet injection drivers by lxp
> Macchanger (optional)
simple
1- make sure u got permission to crack the wep network
2- load bleeding edge drive
3- open faircrack
3- go to monitor window put injection and monitor on enable, change your mac
4- find a wep cript netw.
5-start
6-autent.
6-inection
7-wait till you get about 70k of ivs
8- stop all 3 windos
9- go to decrypt
10-select wep and pres decrypt
11- you should have the key

I finished after his mengistall all, then I run the command sh /home/user/MyDocs/FAS/launch.sh in Xterminal he said "cap: No such file or directory, whether it be a problem!? What was like that for the initial run !? Please help thx http://talk.maemo.org/attachment.php...1&d=1308567495
