I had battery problems for a little while. There was a bug with something I was running. I would recommend that you monitor your processes to see if you have a process that is eating up your battery. I find the "System Info Widget" very useful for this. When the device is idle, laying on a table, the widget should be at 1% or 2% most of the time.

I've had the phone for more than a year and it has always been the way you describe. The only way I've found to extend battery life is to disable everything and not use the device, but what's the point in that?

By using autodisconnect and setting it to be very aggressive (disconnect everything, fall back to 2G when not connected) battery life extends far enough that it lasts almost until I go to sleep at night after being fully charged in the morning. But that's about it.

Mine only lives for about 6 hours with light usage, though heavy usually describes better my usage
