Hello.
Need help finishing this widget.


Integrated control for FMTX, BLUETOOTH, GPS, and MediaPlayer.


All functions are working (99%) but I have some issues that my python/wodget/gtk/cairo/etc knowllege doesn't reach.

What is working:
FMTX: Start / Stop / detect status (on/of) / in/decrease freq / Send to RDS
BlueTooth: Start/Stop / detect status (on/off/discoverable)
GPS: start/stop / detect status
Media Player start/pause/next /prev (don't know why PREV it is not working now): Also , if device is rebooted, you have to launch the media player and select a playlist or song, after that works fine). RDS Uptade is also working

What is missing/not working:
Integrated FMcarKit (developer doesn't answer) and this would be nice
Album Art is currently showing via HTML. don't know why ( after several exauting trying...), can't make it work like the "buttons".

And. that's it. anyone interested in helping??

PS: I'm also a newbie on pyton/ widgets/etc so the code is for sure "bad" for experienced coders but it is "understandale"

didnt install for me got the error: Incompatible application pakage.

any ideas?

It was my first .deb... Yet it installed ok on my n900
open x-term and try dpkg -i consolidatedinterfacesplugin_0.001.1-1_all.deb

note: there is a bug in line 481 of a_consolidated.py just replace the " ' " with " # ". and thats it. will do another deb asap.

Hi Tiago

Just saw ur post recently. I was looking for a media player widget that could do portrait mode too. So I took this, made some fixes:

* Album art now doesn't load as HTML anymore. (loads as pixbuf)
* Plays music after reboot without launching media player (wrote a small prog that interfaces with mafw to auto-load playlist and play)
* Prev button working (dbus cmd - 'prev' changed to 'previous')

And then I added portrait-mode support too. I also took some liberties with the looks of the widget. Screenshots below:

Attached is the deb file for this version. Feedback appreciated.



I think it would be great if you could upload this to extras-devel, or if you gave me permission to have this version uploaded to extras-devel.
