    I don't know what will be in the future, but now yappari works without any bugs (except some functions like message forwarding and visit card sending)

    Yes, because we have really motivated devs to actually do this. Now, do you see anyone seriously motivated to do this?
    Look at Wazapp, it's probably dead now while it was a huge success

    Well Viber had an account previously here (I hope it wasn't a fake one), and they apologized about mixing up and confirming that they don't have any plans whatsoever to build it for Maemo or MeeGo since they're confirmed to be dead OSs now

    actually few time ago Scorpius said that if he will have free time he will hack blackberry program (don't remember its name). And some users asked him to do something like yappari for using viber protocol. So, i think that it is possible if he confirm it
