Is there a trick to getting NOVA to recognize the keyboard controls?
It installed and seems to be running just fine, but in spite of the WebOS Manager telling me it's been configured for keyboard input, the game only seems to recognize screen controls.. I can't get past the tutorial..

Check the first post of this thread. The developer admits that there is a bug with keyboard remapping for locales other than russian. He says he is working hard on a fix for this.

After trying toi install either monopoly or driver it seems to have buggered up the app games i had already installed dont work now and every time i try and install a new ipk file it tells me it cannot create a director for the file...... how do I fix this?

It seems to me that you have the same problem Leon4 had. Take a look at post 125 maybe it can solve your problem.
cheers for that I did look over thread but missed that post.
ok i entered code and it seemed ok but now in xterm it is looking strange
some kind of gibberish withthe only wrods i can pick out is DRIVER and it is counting upwards now at fsk 000009.502 is this normal (fingers crossed) this has been running for over 45 mins

No it's not normal it should take less than one minute.
something happened to me quite the same installing avatar one week ago, I closed before it was finished, and had this also for 1 hour or so, so I got bored and didn't wait till the end and I had to reflash also with vanilla, I didn't want to search too long for the solution, but I suggest you wait till it's running over and see if it works.
Good to know it's a known issue..
