i have some noob questions...

I was able to get webos run properly and able to install a couple of games. What are the default keymappings for the games? Especially, I wouldn't find a way to quit the game besides doing ctrl+backspace, and then click the X

There are no default keymappings. They are added after installation, but now it doesn't work properly. I'll fix it in a couple of days, and in the next versions there will be a possibility to edit keys for youself.
And yes, there are no other way to exit, it's the way PalmPre games are designed.

You need to use a real Pre to download them. Or ask a friend who has one to do so.

Do they let you pay for a game even without having the device? If so, do that and download one of the illegal copies
