not too fussed either way, i like the keyboard on my n900 but would be equally happy to exchange that advantage for a slimline design.

    Who else?

More likely that Santa will listen than Nokia will.

No they won't, the "slim and light" folks will go for the iPhone or one of the hundred keyboard-less Android phones. It depends what their target market is, but if it is the same target market as the N900 they'll probably halve their sales by dropping the keyboard. I won't buy the N950 if it doesn't have a keyboard, I'd rather wait and see if some other manufacturer produces a decent Meego device with a keyboard, if forced to I'd go with a Android with a keyboard.

The Nokia E7 is slim and have a keyboard, so please, a keyboard and a resistive multipoint touchscreen (or a capacitive with a pen to draw and use on very cold winters).

Looks the E7, it's slim or not?
    The E7 have a keyboad...

I petition that the following petitions be considered:

    * Petition to include spellchecker in N950
    * Petition for N97M/E7 or N900 formfactor with proper keyboard for N950
    * Petition to stop petitioning for petitions

If people see a stylish phone with a nice UI many will buy it. No matter if its not an iphone or does not run android. The n950 should not be another freak phone IMO, rather a stylish mutlimedia handset for common folks. For business people meego probably does not offer enough.
