Might be worth a thought (rather than hosing this guy down with negative comments) because anytime now Nokia might pull the plug on maemo.org. Then where would we complain about dodgy usb charging ports and no new Angry Birds updates?
don't want to rain on anyone's parade, but try not to reinvent the wheel, save your obvious enthusisam for an original idea or contributing to existing communities

Because doing so allows the facebook page owner to get at your facebook info, and friends list, either to spam or sell to spammers? It's the same reason you shouldn't add random apps too. But then if you ever put info on facebook you can pretty much expect it to be public.

really ??? well guess what i'm the page admin (there is no such thing as owner) and guess what, i don't have access to nothing, here is a simple example for you : group members aren't my friends, so i can;t see their pics, statasus, ... ot what ever, this is the new fb group thing, fully save .
