Write the raw image only to the Microsd an insert them to the n900.
    i get this:

    Code:
wrong image format from boot command
    error: cant get kernel image

Had the same problem. Boot with old method:

uboot started working for me after that for some reason.

    yes. did this.

i dl'd and trnsfered the ks file to the flasher folder, just like how we used to have to flash the OC.

    used this

    Code:
    $ sudo flasher-3.5 -l -k <kernel> -b
it tried it with the $ and got not such command

i tried it without the $ and got cannot find image.

What operating system are you using? The command assumes linux with flasher installed.

    Get flasher here: http://tablets-dev.nokia.com/maemo-d...-downloads.php

If you're using windows 7 64 bit then you need this:

EDIT: The ks file is NOT the kernel. the vmlinuz file is the kernel.

ill have my 32bit pc back today.

    yes, i use flasher.

i havent had issues in the past flashing my devices.

i must be missing something small here.

i have dl'd the raw zip, unzipped it on my pc...it is 1.7gb unzipped.

transfered the raw file over to the microsd.

i think the challenge is the kernel.

i currently do have the v46 pwer kernel installed.

on his website, there is a ks file that only dl's as a standard text file.

Does this mean that the keyboard doesn't work yet, and that the phone display only works in portrait?
