and btw the only thing this app needs is a proper video player, i know u did put a bug thing and all that, but this app is the best in what it does, but playing youtube vidz isn;t that good with the media palyer or kmplayer, and i'm not talking about resolution, i'm talking about smoothness.....

Great app Marxian...its fast,smooth and works really well....infact these are the kind of apps that we miss on Maemo...there was a thread sometime back by a member wanting to know why the apps on Maemo does not give you the kind of polished feel the way you see it on Android,iOS etc...well I guess this is the step in the right direction...keep up the good work mate.

Talking about subjective experiences To me it´s almost completely opposite on cutetube internal player vs. cutetube-qml + kmplayer. With latter I can freely multitask in cutetube while video/audio is playing in background. Buffering, seeking and overall speed are better on my system with kmplayer. And also I like kmplayer GUI. Only thing it lacks is volume control like in default media player.

but you have a fast connection, people like me on a slow connection just suffer with kmplayer sometimes...... and yes i do have the fastest internet connection i can get my hands on..... yes i'm kind of on the ******ed part of the planet now (but it still an awesome place to be in )

In the meantime, this works in an xterm:

If the audio stops before video is over, just hit the space bar twice in xterm.
