    They still are though. AFAIK 3 attempted suicides have been charged with public order offences in the past few months.

    Only in the ideal world, sadly. The majority of people who take their own lives are either under extreme pressure from outside interference, i.e Divorce or personal tragedy and mental illness, which in turn is heavily discriminated against.
