    Fortunately no freezing or rebooting. Will try your method on removing later today and post results.

    CSSU
    Modified hildon desktop
    OC'd to 1150/1150
    hw revision 2204
    same with me... i thought the speed patch would speed up the N900 but it slowed down very much that it took 15 to 20 minutes and two reboots (including force shutdown by removing the battery) to remove the speedpatch from fam..

    hello everyone

    I released a new update for batterypatch

    it should be very effective
    at least 50 - 100 % more life

    but don't shout on me if you didn't get that value
    cause different N900s have different abilities

    PS: if you didn't receive the update
    wait a bit more cause i have just uploaded it to extras

    @ammyt and every one else having that error
    The point of that error in the newest version is just to tell you if speedpatch is activated or not
    if it appeared that means speedpatch is not activated

    TBH in my N900 i don't get that error except after an unexpected reboot
    i have R&D mode disabled

    i have kernel-power v47 (v48 is buggy)

    @TransTech
    i just say
    don't force anything with speedpatch
    read the above
    and i think people who uses stock kernel
    speedpatch doesn't work with them (not sure)

    Does the patch interfer with CSSU?
    How to activate the custom profiles?
    Do they activate automaticly?
    My N900 doesn't like profiles except lv and OC above 900mhz so is this update safe for me?

    Edit:
    No good for me. Reboot. Have to uninstall

    fw190 they are auto activated

    but if you know that N900 can't take handle starving and ideal
    then i don't recommend this update for u

    although you may wanna try it
    if anything went wrong
    your N900 should reboot and say the custom settings where not loaded
    in that case remove it directly

    ALTHOUGH something wrong may happen with you
    IT'S AT YOUR OWN RISK

    //EDIT

    it has nothing to do with CSSU

    //EDIT AFTER YOUR EDIT

    i will release another package called batterypatch-nonkp
    it will be just like the old version
    for you and others who are not lucky with their N900s

    and you can download the older version from
    http://repository.maemo.org/extras-d....9-5_armel.deb

    TEMPORARY
