    well i haven't done anything special at all I have been using my device for a few calls, loads of texts, checking and responding to a few emails, light web browsing and updates. save you reading the whole thread this is whats installed on my device.

    brightness on 2, GSM, connects through Wifi Wlan transmission power 10mW (_vi). have email widget, weather widget, mediaplayer widget, and a QBW on.
    haven't got much on it but everything i need so far.
    with battery patch i changed the overclock profile from 805 to 600 as i found i don't need to O.C. as yet, previously i had it set to 750 but device acts great with the reflash and cssu.(eefo told me how well his was running that finally persueded me to reflash)
    and that's all i have done with it, nothing special and some steady usage .

    my battery alert has just started
    ignore the big purple blocks glitch in the batterygraph image, that was when it was turned off

    @corduroysack

    it seems that you dont use qtlockscreen and I am badly in need of a scud battery.
    If you could post the batterygraph screenshot in FaceBook I would click on "like" button thousand times

    my configuration is like:
    kernel power v49
    karam's batterypatch -- my own custom voltage profile for underclock(250-600) and overclock(250-750)
    smartreflex vdd1=0 (=1 not stable)
    smartreflex vdd2=1
    karam's speedpatch
    brightness = 2
    i rarely use gprs or wifi
    turned off my GPS & network location
    portrait hildon desktop
    modest from cssu
    widgets list:
    few contacts, conversation, few apps shortcuts, media player, calender, battery
    i use my device for call, sms, email, twimgo, Fmobi, Opera mobile,
    with this my N900 lasts for (no ones gonna believe) less than 20hrs
    yeah that sucks
    but still I love my N900 and I am very happy with it
    nothing is comparable with this ultimate device

    I'm not using _any_ patch and run into conversation issues myself fro time to time. So just get over it.

    sorry i'm not on facebook anymore i'm on google+
    when i used qtscreenlock i noticed it constantly in 'top' so i got rid of it but that was before i reflashed. i really liked it but with it showing in top it's got to have an effect on battery life. just like smscon i liked that as well but same again.

    i'm with you on the n900 it is the best device i have had and before i reflashed i was getting about the same, this time i'm being more picky on what i install (hopefully) and waiting to see if it has had an effect on my battery life before installing anything else.

    Is anyone else here having issues with the phone app taking too long to show when a call comes or it's probably not related to these?

    i don't know why there are so many negative polls... but honestly this worked for me... i really made my n900 faster... i can seriously feel the less lag on my screen... Thanks man.... Why didn't i do this before.... (Only Speed Patch) didn't use other's

    the batterypatch and speedpatch works fine for me but i dont know the risk of being default to overclocked.. i like this default because it makes my phone very responsive..
