    Are they gone from the repos?
    I have extra devel and extra testing activated with no luck.

    Edit:Nevermind, apt-get update did the trick!

    Thank you Karam, with your patches and these profiles modified by me (both based on Starving profile):

    Underclock -> Min 125 Max 250 VDD1 = 1 and VDD2 = 1
    Overclock -> Min 500 Max 750 VDD1 = 1 and VDD2 = 1

    my N900 have 34% of battery after 36 hours since last recharge !

    Karam. Excellent work. Batterypatch v. 2.0 operate like a dream. Do you have any idea of these changes to the profiles:

    Underclock -> VDD1 = 0; Governor=conservative

    Overclock -> Min 250; FREQS="250:380,180 ...."

    With these changes 2 year old original Nokia battery lasted 4 days including: 1h 30min calls, 20 min map and gps, 10 min internet.

    salut, pai cel mai bine ar fi sa ai instalat kp 48 si dupa aceea instalezi din x-terminal batterypatch-ul si ti-l instaleaza automat ptr kp48, eu cand l-am instalat prima oara pur si simplu am scris comanda "apt-get install batterypatch" si mi s-a instalat parca si cu kp48 automat, numai stiu exact, oricum cert este ca acest patch chiar ajuta se vede o imbunatatire semnificativa a bateriei.Daca mai ai nelamuriri sa-mi spui.

    PS: Ce bine ca mai suntem si de-ai nostri pe aici :d.

    buna, pia ms de sfat, o sa instalez kp48, (sper sa -l gasesc) si dupa aia zici sa bag battery patch prin comanda apt-get, adica daca incerc download direct din repository alea nu merge?
    ms . chiar ca e misto ca mai sunt si de-ai nostri pe aici.

    Poti incerca sa instalezi batterypatch-ul fara sa iei kp48 si vezi daca iti merge.Si vezi face in felul urmator:
    Mai intai verifica sa ai in app manager la la aplication catalogs sa ai si extras-devel, in cazul in care nu il ai trebuie sa-l bagi in felul urmator, deschizi app manager apesi sus apoi apesi pe Aplication catalogs -> new si apoi scrii asa:

    Catalog name: Extras-devel
    Web address:: http://repository.maemo.org/extras-devel/
    Distribution: fremantle
    Components: free non-free

    Apoi dai Save

    Dupa ce ai facut toata astea (in tot acest timp trebuie sa fii conectat la net wi-fi sau 3g) poti sa alegi varianta simpla sa cauti in app manager batterypatch si sa o instalezi de acolo sau daca nu deschizi x-terminalul, dupa ce l-ai deschis scrii comenzile astea:

    sudo gainroot
    apt-get install speedpatch

    Apoi vei vedea ca incepe sa se instaleze dureaza cateva momente si cam asta e tot, sper ca o sa te descurci, bafta.

    Hi. I installed battery patch and wish to overclock the dsp for 720p. I edited the overclock profile but when i check the frequency with kernel-config show the 805Mhz still does not change. It stays 520Mhz. How can I change this?

    I just applied speedpatch and battery patch and it seems they both work fine . One question is why after I applied these patches my n900 were running at 700 , now I loaded my profile 250/1000 , is this affecting the battery patch ?
