As he mentioned it's not ready to be released. They had a month to come up with something, they don't have multiple levels and it's coded using the beta of the Qt Mobility library. So they want to improve and tidy stuff up before it's released.

As it's in Qt and demo'd on N900 hardware there's a great chance it'll be in the repos if it's released as opensource, in any case (as this is a MeeGo conference) you'll find it in an OBS or on AppUp before too long.

well, i am registered, but woke up this morning, ... well, uh, lazy!

so i didnt drive up to SF. even my bride said, "oh, arent you supposed to go that that conference today?"

then i heard the rumor of the 2 devices and immediately tried watching the live feed....worked great! except that the only thing that was going on at that time was the event crew cleaning up the chairs! :P

Eklund speaks at 930am PST on wednesday. i would have to leave my house at about 715am to get there on time...maybe, and that is only 57 miles. my guess is that if it is announced or given to us, that that would be the time to do it. there are about 80 or so Nokia employees registered for the event, so there has to be some kind of representation being shown.

was going to go up to hob-nob a bit this evening with them at the hotel and the exploritorium...but...lazy got the best of me. they wont be giving any away tonight, i am confident.

anyway....ill be sure to share my enthusiasm should i be of the lucky souls to get one. if we get one.

Its a 3 day drive from my house to the conference! Man up! Get out of bed and drive those 57 miles! Take one for the team!!! Lol

actually, i just noticed you are in Daly City....the foggiest place on earth!!!! (i used to live in pacifica)

that is about 10 minutes from the Hyatt....without traffic!

true.. lol.. haha.. its a miracle when you see sunlight.. lol.. anyway, it do get sunny sometime..

and taking bar/bus or etc.. nah... lol.. even thought im 15 mins walk away from bart station.. haha..
