I have GV with sipgate, and I never got such prompts when using it in the US. Both from Wifi and from the IPV6 beta. But I doubt T-mobile could hijack the sipgate sip session to add voice prompts.. Are you sure you configured it through sipgate and not through your cellphone number or something?

yes some issue with my google voice. seems if I dial +1 (us number) it gives prompt saying i have so much money to make a call. their 10c default credit. once removed the +1 and it works fine now.
