I've grabbed the 720p flvs using Firebug's net monitor and then am using Media Player Classic to step by frame. Not sure whether they are clearer than mp4 or not - probably the same. It seems some of the answers were only just made visible on the 1080p master though - would be nice if they could upload that version, or a higher bitrate, or to Vimeo, or give us all free CSI "enhance" software, or...
I'm getting very disillusioned by this competition. I don't mind downloading the videos and freeze-framing/single-frame-advancing them, but how on earth can people read what that name says? I've got the video in 720p and have zoomed in, but I still can't read it. Same with the 850630 code too (the alarm times).
Are there 1080p versions of the videos somewhere that some people have found?
ask the stupid marketing company responsible for this waste of time?
luxus.fi
when they say "go deep into the source" i thought they ****ing meant it. lazy *******s can't even be bothered to hide anything good.
I realise, but iP2g was a looooong time ago in this industry.....
And it'd be mighty hard to attract many smartphone buyers (if any) given the competition, & how crowded the market is.
You need something truly compelling from the UI, right through to the kernel.
It's like turning around and saying:
Symbian + Qt didn't work, but we're going to use something that's a subset of Symbian + Qt, & that'll work.
Yes Qt's seeing huge improvements, but that isn't enough to compensate for S40, & thereby take-on iOS/Android/WP once again.
But it's definitely a great move to consolidate their hold on the featurephone market.
So long the demographics they're targeting, don't start paying extra for smartphones, if pricing comes down enough.
If they want to advance their smartphone stock using Qt, why not go as hard with MeeGo*, as they are with WP?
Sigh, then again this is "Nokia logic" we're dealing with, & maybe part of the agreement w/MS explicitly prevents that?
does anybody know if
nokia releases n9 with win7 in uk (more likely imo)
will it be possible to flash it with Harmattan?
I believe searay is a totally diff. SoC (qualcomm IIRC) but similar specs/performance.
So I don't think flashing with harmattan will be possible.
But I see no reason why UK won't get the N9, maybe at the same time or later than searay.
But you'll definitely get it.... It's already with retailers on pre-order.
