Well if it's all about looks and performance this one N9 is right on the money! It's sleek smooth sweet and sexy!
Anyone in here who says that it should have been this and should have had that and I-AM-NOT-BUYING-IT is not completely honest to himself or to his fellow community ...

... admit it people you'd love one wouldn't you?
It's entirely possible that it would be, in fact, completely dishonest for you to claim to know what anyone else wants or doesn't wants and whether they're being honest to themselves. Q.E.D.
OK, I had the opportunity of played with the Asus X101 MeeGo-powered netbook, and I was able to install Dosbox (and then install DOS 6.22, Win 3.11, play some old games), Wine (and test a few games like Counter-Strike), Skype, Firefox, gcc and so on.
[...]
Will I be able to do all those stuffs in this device?
Anything that relies on x86 instruction set actually being available will not work the same on ARM. So, no dosbox (except maybe via x86 emulation, but probably not worth it), no wine etc.
skype support is integrated (not standalone app) into the messaging framework as in the N900. I would guess fennec would be available (but, how does it's "slide right to see tabs, slide window left to get configuration button" concept work on the N9's swipe UI) as on N900. gcc is probably apt-get install away, but you may be better off with the SDK and cross-compiling on a PC.
Does anyone know if N9 has full Nokia Maps, with proper TurnByTurn Navigation?
Did you read *any* of the official material about the N9? This is covered almost everywhere. From http://swipe.nokia.com/features/:
"Drive turns your Nokia N9 into a complete satnav system. With turn-by-turn voice guidance in 90 countries, Drive will get you to your destination on time. Large touch controls make it quick and easy to plot your next route."

The real question is, now that it is available for Harmattan, is there any chance of it being made available for Fremantle (N900)?
After my N900 got stolen, I've been eagerly waiting for the announcement of the N9. The missing HW keyboard and some other specs of the N9 compared to the N900 are kind of disappointing. But on the other hand, the N9 seems to be very responsive for a yet to be released device.
I might go for it...if it truly is an open platform...
And I would really love to get my hands on the developer edition. I don't understand anything this guy is saying but it looks like the real deal.
I just hope this has a better GPS and works better as a phone than N900 does.
What is wrong with the GPS on the N900 ?
Or, do you mean the Nokia Maps application? Please, go read the release material, rather than wasting time posting questions that you could answer for yourself in less time than typing the question ...
On the topic of the lack of removable battery: It's much better marketing-wise to advertise "polycarbonate unibody" than it is to advertise "removable battery". Honestly sometimes I feel like you guys have absolutely zero understanding of how the world works. So the N9 has a lot of characteristics you all dislike. THE WORLD IS NOT FULL OF PEOPLE LIKE YOU. GET OVER IT.
