Hey guys, I recently added the speed script and along with that, bash. Thing is, I used to do root with just typing root in Xterm and I had edited my .bashrc with leafpad with all my aliases.

Now I find that none of my kernel aliases work or anything else basically because it says kernel-config not found. If I do root with sudo gainroot though, I can at least access kernel-config and change some stuff. Is there an easy way to get kernel-config back into just the "root" shell or if not, what file do I need to edit to add my aliases into when using sudo gainroot?

Lesson learned? NEVER install stuff just found on the internet, be careful,l which repos to enable and to update against! Go flash your device there are numerous threads for complaints about that script! Nobody really knows what is doing apart from the maintainer, who is not willing to give access to the sources....
Ask him/her: Why?
