In Lands of Lore, could you perhaps remap the left and right key bindings on the D-Pad so that it rotates your character's orientation rather than strafing left and right the way it is set now?
I watched some Let's play of LoL (my copy is coming next week) and totally see what you mean. So you're currently playing with the stylus?
I don't think I can do per-game keymapping yet with the new port rewrite.
It is the top item on my TODO list but I am afraid it won't make it to 1.4.0 (feature freeze sometime next week)
What other games are you using ScummVM for? Any problems?
I could use all the testing I can get. (especially from folks with N900 and N800 which I don't own and thus cannot test)
Yeah, I have just an N800. It's still an awesome tablet though.
The hardware key mapping for this is the same as the ports of Dungeon Master and Chaos Strikes.
I'll just use Xmodmap and change the left and right D-Pad to Numeric Keypad 7 (Turn Left) and 9 (Turn Right) instead of Slide Left and Slide Right. It's just too weird with it mapped like this.
Anyway, I've been collecting games for quite some time now and I'll be more than happy to test what I can.
I did give Castle of Dr. Brain a quick revisit today and the method you're using for a right click (zoom in key) is very impressive.
I still don't quite understand your zoom out key binding and the reason for it. It just toggles between "clicking enabled" and "clicking disabled". So yeah, not sure what the whole point of that is or the use for this.
But for now, LoL is really giving me happy smiles.
I'm about 3 hours into this game and it's absolutely perfect so far.
It almost brings a tear to my eye.
Thank you so much Tarek!
Oh, because I have a N800, there's no Ctrl button to launch your virtual keyboard.
I have my own touch screen keyboard that I use if needed using Xkbd.
By the way, I'm a loser here and most people don't even bother looking at this thread. *lol*
You should post a new thread on your latest work with SCUMM.

Think of games that have a lot of hover requirements like Beneath a Steel Sky and Atlantis.
Those games are pretty useless unless you can move the mouse without clicking, pretty impossible on Maemo tablets without that clicking. Turning off clicking enables you to move the mouse around and "pixel hunt".
What key can I use (that I am not already using already) on the N800 to bring up the virtual keyboard? Sorry for my ignorance of what the N800 has in the hardware keys department.
Ideally I could stack functionality in the same key based on things other than CTRL and SHIFT. Maybe I can make it so that holding down the zoom out for a couple of seconds turns on the virtual keyboard? I'll have to look into that possibility. In the meantime, if you want to test the virtual keyboard, it is CTRL-F8.
Okay, so in the default Email app that gives LED notifications and a pop up letter in the task manager, is there any way to also produce a sound during this event as well?
