If this release make all the components to work, i Mean, calls, GPS, Accelerometer, i will keep it. Anyway until then, E-yes has done a good work. It's not a bad news at all dear friend.

Edit: And camera too. It has been proven somewhere that it works or at least it will.

after eyes releases nitdroid will it possible to play nitdroid multitouch games with keyboard like webos. as he said that he will abandon the project so will it be possible to make something like that without him?

That is if someone can continue it, and that the resources he has used can be made available. But not just anyone can continue it, because it obviously needs experience.

Not sure, the Wiki says you need the archive (.tar.bz2) as well as the .deb...I'm waiting to see the archive show up on http://downloads.nitdroid.com/e-yes/ before I attempt to install 2.3.5, but I am damn close to trying with the UMay archive.

how do you install the new kernel with umay already installed?

i tried:

dpkg -i /home/user/MyDocs/nitdroid-kernel-2.6.28-07_6-rc6_armel.deb

but got:

I think you must mount android under maemo before installing the new kernel. Try to check the wiki for more informations. Cheers!!!

Aren't we still waiting for the archive for the new kernel to be loaded? Unless we are able to load the new kernel using the older N12_Umay archive?
