I just received my 770 today. I am trying to install xterm and kismet.
I updated my repositories via the application manager. when I close I get the error message

Unable to refresh list.
Last refreshed list is shown.

What can I do to get the list of applications that I would like to install.

You have a broken repo. Check the app manager log, and disable/repair the repo showing issue. Could be a fat-finger mistake or a repo is offline.

You likely are having a faulty repos.

Make sure you don't have tortoise catalogue or Kernel Concepts, because they are broken afaik.

If disabling those two didn't help, then you may have to disable all of them and then enable them one by one incrementally to find the faulty one.

Does this log make any sense to you?

In short, it means that your repository is not correct.

Can you post your /etc/apt/sources.list?

It may well not have anything to do with your setup. The web site maemo.org seems to be pretty flaky right now.
