To be serious for a moment, though, the exchange rate IS yet another reason why Nokia will find it exceedingly difficult to do anything in North America, much less in the USA.

e.g.: Japan just decided that a strong Yen (compared to a weak $) is no good for them, thus....

Is this not a question of TLC!! treat the socket and plug as a male / female thaaang. Had mine in constant use for the last 14 months and no issues but then i always heir on the side of caution

Personally, I'm plugging and unplugging the USB connector of my n900 like there is no tomorrow and never had a problem. Things are there for being used, if I want to copy some mp3 music from a friend at his home or whatever I'm not going to be stopped by the chance of that action wearing out the USB port.
so just be a bit careful wid the port..

I'm going to take it this "battery is 100%" prior to shutting off is not normal. Installed the advanced power application and I STILL do not get any indication of the actual battery level. Any suggestions?
