Ok it's not *very* important but the answer *why* has a simple response - "somebody needs it."
Also pixman, cairo, and a few more need update.

Very important is to update X11 and family (Xau, Xi6, etc.). The couple of versions skipped in Harmattan makes all the newer libXi apps completely incompatible

And much more important is updating tracker!! The one we have in Fremantle is sluggish!!!

If it would be possible I'd like to see those features included:

    - command for force status area and/or status menu show up, like power menu does(example :checking time or connection status while fullscreen browsing in portrait mode)
    - if above can't or just won't be done then maybe :
    - make power menu compatible with status menu aplets
    - status area as one of power menu items
    - or at least status area in dashboard
    - mapping camera key and power key functions by plaintext file, preferably with dedicated files for executing custom command, so it would be easily remapped with simple dbus-scripts (example : on tklock event pwr key is changed into pause/previous , and camera key into play/next in media player, when browser is used in potrait mode those keys as shift and fn would give ability use volume keys for scrolling and home/end or whatever someone defines in his key map)
    - ability to map full cam key press event when lenses are covered, without annoying messages

Those changes if applied would make N900 even more customizable and versatile, which would potentially benefit all users.

Also got some ideas that would be useful for me, but not sure if it isn't to niche applications.
    - extend BT profiles to make possible to use something like BT-HFP Dialer from meego ivi (there were more than couple threads started by people who wanted to use n900 for answering calls and texting using another mobile cell phone in one way or another).
    - ability to use headphones as antenna for FM transceiver? It works in other way around.
    - ability to lock orientation in portrait mode
    - mouse pointer like one from microb browser, but working in all apps including full screen, preferably with option to control movement and clicks with keyboard, that would be handy for those small scroll bars as alternative to pulling out stylus.

Do remember CSSU is for system updates, not things that can be provided by other packages.

cssu extras - to push packages that would come into extras but need cssu updates

extras thumb - extras-* compiled with thumb2

please think a while before posting. timed is Harmattan.

But agree with libc6. It'd be nice.

/edit: well, timed can't be compiled with current libc6

Current libc6 doesn't provide sys/timerfd.h. In librarypacks there are just binary files taken from Harmattan.

If put timed v9.20 (if it existed) into librarypack, it woudn't be detected anyway. it's how dpkg works
