Trusted me, get Nokia X3-02 it very elegant simple design to fit all she need, keypad and touch screen. and also varies colors. i got it for my cousin, she a simple user like ur gf, it cost $146 in USA. she love it alot.

i say go for a blackberry 9900, simply because nearly every girl on my uni campus got a blackberry. Seems to be very popular amoung the ladys :P

My GF is also nuts about having a HW keyboard, she hated the E73 Mode because it was buggy, laggy and froze up all the time. Bah! typical S60!!

She now has an E6 and says she'll never look back. Yeah, we'll see. But for a while she had an N8 and loved it apart from the fact that it took her an hour to send a text or email because (like me) she's no fan of the onscreen keyboard. Hence why I'm not getting an N9.

I think the E6 is a beautiful looking phone, really girl friendly.

Next time, post some damn pics!!

Instead of all that rambling, buy Her N900, teach her how to use it, and contribute to spreading world about the FOSS

And if You really can't stand to such responsibility a C6 is inexpensive (on aftermarket) way to go. It's basiclly 5230 with HW keyboard and WiFi.
