here are the steps..
place both abctheme.ini and theme images folder named abctheme in opt/qtlockscreen and them killall qtlockscreen
them open qtlockscreen config ... hope this solves for everybody...
edit: once app is opened wait for some time for the screenshots come up, then double tap on the theme you want to set and tap YES and voila.. its set as default theme...
Updated to version 0.1.1, the crash should be fixed.
@amadeukaos: themes should be packaged as deb and uploaded to the repository IMHO.
How can I package my lockscreens as deb and upload it to the repository ? can you give me a wiki or something ? and do I need a linux OS on my computer ?
I never made a package containing only files (without source code to compile), but you can look at other packages (like ttf-nokiapure) and see how it works and then upload it to the autobuilder.
The autobuilder will generate the deb file and import it in the repo. https://garage.maemo.org/extras-assistant/index.php

I thought that qtLockscreen was dificult to configure but after testing it I can say Hell No! I have installed qtlockscreenconfig. it is just a way to preview the lockscreen before applying to the OS! good idea, but for lazy members like me, some options to configure the ini file are welcome.
Little tip: I use ssh to modify the ini file and preview it on the phone, it's a little bit easy instead of switching between tasks!
Good work mate!!!
