    Camera broken / black screen

    Yeah I'm not sure how could it be directly affected though I'm just guessing either the camera drivers compiled lacked something or it could just be fcam.

    power kernel beyond 42 can be found in extras-devel (Warning: It may cause you to lose your hair).

    Does anyone know what causes this? I have this same problem. It started when I updated the last time I think it was modrana, open media, espeak and smscon.

    I dont know how any of those programs would affect the camera though. I have tried removing them and rolling the camera back to the original

    Code:
    apt-get install --reinstall camera-ui=1.1.29.1+0m5
    and still doesnt work. Im using cssu testing, power 50

    any ideas?

    well I actually didnt have fcam installed so I installed it and then after a restart the standard camera and bless now work again ...odd

    always install fcam driver before installing kp,

    well i dropped my phone and the battery came out now the camera isnt working again ...removed and reinstalled fcam still doesnt work ...i have also been using kp for over a year and never had fcam installed without problems.

    the problem happened when i ugraded the programs in the above post
