    Yes, of course.

Put into Default rule "Mobile network mode" 3g or dual (whichever you fancy), then create a rule with idle time that sets "Mobile network mode" to 2g.

    There you go sir.

I may have stumbled on a bug or my logic is working differently from ProfileMatic:

I want to have an action when I touch an NFC tag when I'm on mobile data. Like this:

    Condition:

    Internet connection:
    Mobile net connection

    NFC:
    NFC detections set

    Action:

    Custom action:
Custom action on activate has been set

Now, when I tap on the tag when on mobile data, nothing happens. The custom action works when I test it. I even tried changing the action to a profile change but it doesn't get triggered.

A very similar rule, where mobile net is replaced by WLAN condition, works fine.

Am I going about this wrong or is this a bug?

    Version is 1.7.1

I see nothing wrong in your approach. Can you test putting some other actions besides custom action there, and see if they get triggered when you do that?

Also double check the NFC tag that it's correct for the condition.

I tried changing the actions to bluetooth on and profile to beep. No luck.

The tag is the correct one.

Does a similar rule work for you?

I'll try to remember to test tomorrow.

If I can't reproduce it, I'll need some logs to figure out what's wrong.

I reproduced the problem. There's something wrong with the internet connection mode condition. I will look for a fix soon. Thanks for reporting the bug!

Please test the version attached to this post if you have the time. I'm pretty sure it fixes this issue, but "real world" testing is always better.

It's pretty good luck (in sense of squashing bugs) that you got this problem, because it happens only when internet connection condition is combined with another condition (in this case NFC). Otherwise it just initially gets it wrong when phone reboots.

ProfileMatic installed from Nokia Store must be uninstalled before installing this test version.
