To reset tracker:
- Open Settings -> Security -> Developer Mode -> Enable
- After the installation, the device will reboot
- After the reboot, open terminal from the homescreen
- Now type:

Well if you have a backup it doesnt backup call logs...

You don't have to restore the backup for the detection...Tracker reset doesnt delete your media files...

oh! so it didn't work then.
after installing it, go to terminal and type:
gallerybugx
and then do:
tracker-control -r
reboot, wait 10 mins then check your gallery.
