Just to let you know, you DO NOT need to manually reboot your device

    Experience from the N900 days

Use this command and your N9 will automatically restart after the flashing has complete.

    Code:
    flasher -F flash.bin -f -R
Using this command will cause your N9 to automatically restart after the flash I tested this on my device when I updated my Swiss 64GB to the UK 64GB PR1.1

I had flashed from the singapore version to the central european. As I live in the US, would it make more sense to use the UK ireland version:

    059J186: RM-696 NDT UK IRELAND BLACK 64GB

Does this version have any branding or bloatware?

Has anyone noticed, after flashing, that their N9 appears slightly laggy at times. Also terminal seems to have some difficulty when going from portrait to landscape. It is almost comical. What sometimes happens is that the terminal rotates first and then, a second later, the keyboard rotates into place. I do not recall this happening with Pr1.0

EDIT: Don't know why but it doesn't seem quite so laggy now. Odd issue with portrait to landscape for terminal remains...

When I downloaded files using Navifirm 0.1, I noticed there was no file associated with emmc. I checked several distributions (ie UK, Singapore and so on. How do I obtain that file? Do I need to use a different version of Navifirm?

    Thanks!

Theres no bloatware or branding on that firmware, I am using it

Also it doesnt matter what countries firmware you use, all it relates to is the preloaded maps and languages/keyboards, it will still work on any countries networks

The flashing worked for me. I had a Starhub branded black 64GB (Singapore 059L3V7). Just like Drekkie (earlier in the thread), I successfully debranded it by flashing with the Central Europe PR1.1 (DFL61_HARMATTAN_20.2011.40-4_PR_LEGACY_001-OEM1-958_ARM.bin). It's been a couple days so far since I did the flash and I haven't noticed anything strange. Thanks!

I tired this exact thing, now when I boot I get a yellow triangle with an exclamation point. The message reads:

WARNING! You have modified the device software, making the warranty permanently void. The safety/security features of the device may also be disabled or non-operational. Any continued use of the device may harm you and/or the device and will be at your own risk, and you agree not to hold Nokia, its affiliates, customers, or contractors liable for any failures of the device. If you do not accept these risks, you are advised to switch off the device and reinstall a Nokia authorized operating system.

It does not allow me to boot past this warining even after many attempts. I've even used the suppress warranty warning option durining a reflash.

This is what happend with my most recent reflash:

I'm not an expert but I would think you need a space between the -F option and the DFL61...

Thanks!!! I did have a space.... Not sure why it didn't copy and past that way......

my guess is something to do with this:

    [f] rootfs [init 0 % 13312 / 1102340 kB NA

    All others complete at 100%

    ?????

So you can see some new attempts below. It seems to me that the error is in the areas I highlighted, but I don't know how to resolve them.... I wish I new how to format the entire thing, and then re-write it..... If that failed then I would know it's a hardware issue......

This all started when the phone froze after 1 day. I had installed some apps from the OVI store and the device froze for more than 10 min. I powered it down and got the "NOKIA" splash screen and nothing else. I decide I should try to flash it. I had the "StarHub" branded black 64 GB version.

    Any ideas?
