Go go Twaelti: I'd gladly pay for the Recaller application.

the Maemo 5 Fremantle Recaller could (auto)record phone calls + as a bonus also system sounds and what else. And the format was even configurable. Wav or FLAC..

Seens like it only records phone calls. The recaller app on the N900 could record anything on the phone. Specifically for me it could record FM radio (streaming too). That is what I hope for on the N9 before I buy one.

You want to record FM radio? And what will the quality be like? May as well download it off somewhere.

    Maybe he doesn't have internet?
Maybe he wants to save a "conversation" that is going on on the radio?
I don't know if you ever used the radio, but the radio quality on my phone is very good....!

What is it with people always questioning motives of others for no good reason. For your information (not that you deserve a response) I listen to the FM radio at work a lot (mostly local public radio). FM radio sounds far better than streaming digital garbage. And when I hear a new artist/song I will record it as a note to look into it later. Does this explanation work for you, or are my uses not important enough to pass your standards?

On the N9/N950 you can actually record from FM radio AND from the microphone at the same time.

(I mean, it will produce two streams/you will get two .wav files).
