It's present in power kernel version>=50(maybe 49 too).

    Edit:
If you mean you need cssu-testing for bleeding edge driver to work.
Bleeding edge driver isn't dependent on cssu.
I belive it's KP 51 and higher that contains BEDrivers.

Is today fix comming to repos?

    Hey people,

I got problems to update my n900.

I am very new and english is not my mothertough.

Today I did a flash. Everything went well. The next is to install the cssu testing. I am not sure if the cssu testing is installed proberly. HAM shows me an update, but I can't install that update.

    My current version is 20.2010.36-2

    uname -r shows 2.6.28-ompl

In short words - wait until problems get fixed, then try updating again.

My Device boot-looped when I attempted to restart after installing the latest CSSU on Friday. I lost everything when I flashed. Now please can someone direct me where to find the previous version of the CSSU so I can reinstall it?

Secondly, each time I flash my device I lost everything and the System Back-up only restores Application List and not Applications. Is there any apps which I can use to backup and restore everything at once?

T7.2 was the ver. with no problems - more info You will find one page back.

For backing up You can use Back Up Menu - there is a thread about this app, here on TMO. I'm using it, but it is not as simple as You would like it to be, few issues with backing up without pre instaling CSSU. So basicly read few (or few more) posts in the thread and You will see Your self.

P.S. Wait for this update fix, You will have the latest CSSU.

    T8.1 booting OK. ( T8.1 >>> ver. 21.2011.38-1Tmaemo8.1 )

First incoming call was ringing with default Nokia Tune :-¦|,then without changing settings second and third call was ringing with the right one (set by user).

Again after reboot the same story, 1 - default, 2,3,4, (...) - set by user.
    Message tone same thing.

Latest version of CSSU-testing seems OK here, too.
    Thanks for the fix!

So everthing works fine now ?

I flashed yesterday my n900 and was surprised not to be able to install the cssu testing.

So I am also a bit confused about it installing the cssu.

In the wiki I red to download it from the webpage. then ham will do the rest.

Then I read about doing this commands
    sudo gainroot
    apt-get update
    apt-get install mp-fremantle-community-pr

So what do I have to do now? Are both ways possible?
