BTW there's a little known performance improvement available in the X driver: offscreen page flipping ie. page flipping for composited windows.

It can be enabled by making the following configuration file changes.

/etc/powervr.ini:
/etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/fbdev.conf:
If you don't trust the page flip part, you could only enable offscreen swap throttling (powervr.ini changes not needed). It can help on it's own since without it, offscreen swaps can happen faster than the screen refresh rate, depriving the compositor from GPU resources, and in the end you see less frames on the screen even though the application may render more frames (and thus report higher fps numbers).

You can verify whether the settings are active by going over /tmp/Xorg.0.log.

Anyways, just thought it might be a good feature for this tool.

I think those guys at #harmattan@freenode can help you. I too hope that there is an example somewhere that tell me how to call for an external application (ie. terminal) and command it in qml.

I had already read this post and that was not my question my question is if this update with toogle of the network and would be compatible with the PR 1.3 only comment we already are several who do not update because they do not know whether or not comatible the n9qtweak old as in the update of the 1.2

Yeah the folder mod I mentioned earlier doesn't work anymore, mess up the phone and now I can't get to the homescreen.
