you are prolly trying to access /opt via usb connection, you need to access via SSH and login as root to be able to edit/copy files there.

download WINSCP to access the "hidden" folders, there are plenty of quides here to do that

I could succesfully download the file opening the link in an anonymous chrome session. Have you tried doing that?

Nice progress!

Feature requests:

• Increase - decrease the desktops
• changing the background
• hiding the desktop indicators at the bottom
• looping the desktops (like maemo5)
• using a gif as background (Nyancat ftw!)
• making widget size bigger or smaller using pinch to zoom
• add the option to disable swiping the widget canvas app
• add a maemo like menu button to the widgets, to minimize the widgetcanvas (usefull if you disabled the swipe)
• running the app as a deamon so it will still be active once you unlocked your screen even if the widgetcanvas is "closed".

Version 0.0.3: download link.

There are now 2 wallpapers: the parallax one of 1200 * 818 pixels and the single one on 480*818. The single one can be an animated gif aswell.

Added options to set wallpapers, option to disable desktop swiping, option to disable closing the app (it will be hidden instead, and will be shown after unlocking screen).


I have no clue on looping the wallpaper, that's why I have set a ListView for desktops instead of a PathView. Desktops cant be more than 5 because ListView doesn't load more than 2screens far at beginning, thats why the third desktop is shown when starting up the application.
