Hi i'd like to remove modest but it is a dependence of mp-fremantle-generic-pr and some other packages... how can i remove it without remove mp-fremantle-generic-pr?

... and why if I remove facebook-installer with apt-get I remove also mp-fremantle-generic-pr but when I remove it with HAM mp-fremantle-generic-pr is still installed?

Not a perfect answer, but you can stop Modest this way.
