I recently tried to install Obscura, I was getting the error that gtk for python was not installed I tried to install python-2.4 from here (http://pymaemo.garage.maemo.org/) and got an error that oss-thumbnail0 was not installed. So I defaulted back to the ipython package.

Now when i go to Obscura, it doesnt work. At the terminal I get the error:

Code:
sh: Oscura: not found
Even thou which obscura gives me
Code:
 /usr/bin/Obscura
and /usr/bin is in my PATH. I have tried uninstalling and re-installing Obscura.

I dont know if it is connected, but also having problems with gnokii from the trifinite.org site. I just copied the bin to /usr/bin and again it produces the same error and will not even let me run it from the same directory i.e. ./gnokii. I wonder if this is a bug with something not being updated somewhere. I have googled for this and I found one example of a comment from someone about this, no solution. Seems to be little or no mention of "not found" in this forum.

Many thanks for your help
