I've recently joined the ranks of the 770 converts, and after having one for a couple of weeks am still amazed at it's capabilities.

I have slimserver installed (along with mythtv), and have been using the remote streaming very sucessfully, but not all Internet radio (alienbbc mostly) works, and also the lag for the streaming is a bit annoying occasionally.

Has anyone tried compiling and running the slimp3slave client on a 770. I appreciate that it would also need one of the mp3 cli players building also, but it could be a great little app for the 770, given that I assume softsqueeze and jave would make the thing smoke!

If noone else has tried it, how would you make on the 770? And are there any major gotchas. I'm not a coder by the way, just a bit of a hacker.
