I've found out that installed app icons are stored at hicolors folder, but can't find the folders of default applications (say phone, message, mail. etc)

there's nothing in my /.grob/1 folder

this will be a quick question, hope someone could help me here much much appreciated!

there in /usr/share/themes/blanco/meegotouch/icons/

There is a theme changer application and a few icon themes available for the N9 at apps.formeego.org. Hopefully there will come more.

You can change N9 default icon by using copy commnad in Terminal (with Developer mode) from new icons to meegotouch in system files. I did it and it worked.

could you please elaborate on this? Im a noob on this meego stuff and I wanted to change the fennec icon (the blue one with the silver fox) to the firefox (classic) icon that is inside the hicolors folder.

help will be appreciated.

give me the exact directory of the icon folder that you want to change to and the icon's folder that you are changing

I'll give you step by step instructions...

well the file I want to use is in this folder

/usr/share/themes/blanco/meegotouch/icons
(i guess this is the icon folder for the app laucher)

there is an icon called fennec.png (which i want to switch it for another=

and the one I would like to use is called icon-l-firefox.png (perfect squircle)

am i going the right direction?

Basically you need to delete the original icon picture, then replace it with icon-l-firefox.png

tried renaming the files but the phone wont let me by using the file manager, might need to use terminarl, but dont know the commands

Oh I get what you need now... let me find where the original file is kept for firefox's icon then i can tell you via terminal how to do it...
