    So, with Aegis gone, I am thinking of trying to install Debian Lenny sudo and its libpam dependencies on my n950. Is this a bad idea? What will this break?

    I did this "fake" solution before and it could probably be made better.. it doesn't work in all circumstances.

    Code:
    #!/bin/sh

    case "$*" in
    	* )
    	read -p "Password: " -s PASSWORD
    	echo $PASSWORD | devel-su -c "$*"
    ;;

    one thing that keeps me apart from sleep at nights, is what will happen with the people who has flashed the open kernel when PR 1.2 arrives?? we will be able to update it normally from the N9 in the section of actualizations, or we will have to reflash the whole N9 again?

    and most important the open kernel is designed for PR 1.1...it will work with PR 1.2??

    Reason I am waiting for a couple months. See if 1.2 changes open mode/bricks.

    javispedro has put in a request for the kernel source, we should have an open pr1.2 kernel soon. I suspect we'll need to reflash however.

    I'm running PR1.1 open mode in my N950.
    Is it possible to flash PR1.2 with the open mode kernel (when it gets available) in just one step?

    Btw, any news about open mode kernel for PR1.2?

    I found an N9 downloader perl script here:

    https://gist.github.com/1636192

    It might be better than using wine

    I didn't read the whole thread so sorry if this has been posted earlier.
