I've been trying a lot to get into the flash mode
but I just couldn't see it anymore

I'm just one command away to get 'nolo'

Please help me out

if you all need i can send screenshot to get a brief idea on how my cell is behaving.

Alright I somehow managed to cold flash my n900

after cold flashing, then you have to flash ur kernel my friend, like i did before, and its work,

How did you cold flash your nokia n900?
I tried following the link http://wiki.maemo.org/Updating_the_f.../Cold_Flashing
I could not understand where to type the command.

How did you manage to flash your nokia n900 successfully. Please help I am having the exactly problem.
No usb icon
and when I plug my charger or usb cable it would restart every 30 seconds and vibrate.

for me when i had problems with flashing emmc and rootfs time and time again it would get so far then fail or not even start,

i found that uninstalling flasher and nokia cable driver then a reboot of p.c and finally reinstall everything, flasher then worked for me.

this has happened a few times now but ultimately reinstall did the trick for me.

worth a shot as only takes 10 mins but can make all the difference.

Hi ibrakalifa

Today I installed NitDroid
After rebooting my n900 it gives me to boot Maemo or Nitdroid.
When I press 2 nitdroid failed to boot. I remove the battery and
select maemo it did failed too even maemo. So I keep on trying after a
while when I switch On n900 it shows me the Nokia logo with a white
led On and then its switch off after a couple of seconds. Now whenever
I plugin the charger or the usb it will vibrate every after 30 seconds
with a dim light Nokia logo. So I tried flashing but it tells me
unsuitable usb not found waiting".. even by pressing the U and plug
the usb in.
So is there any hope that I could recover this. Any idea I would
really appreciate your help. Or if I take this to a Nokia Care Center
will they be able to fix it. What do you think.

If could help me at least how to cold flash?

I spend my hole day trying to sort it out please help.
