If folder opacity is now possible , this may help to make also statusbar opaque .
No, it won't, sorry. The status bar is drawn by system-ui to a shared pixmap which would need to have an alpha channel and libmeegotouch would then need to render it on screen semi-transparent.

While installing status menu extensions I have notied that for short period, the bg of statusbar is fake-transparent (bg changed and icons slided under instead of over). So did the system auto-loaded part of the homescreen's bg while status menu extension loaded? If yes, could we have this as a function in your app which is auto-load homescreen image as bg for status bar?
