try your cmt flash like this:
>flasher -F youroriginalphmain.bin --flash-only=cmt -f
note the lower case f at the end of the sequence. that made the difference for me.

If you did truly flash the radio with fw 003 then you're going to have to reflash the radio ONLY with fw 003.
