sorry about that. Actually i do try to keep the data when update, such as blacklist/whitelist, blocked log... but it is a little bit hard to keep the some setting, e.g. call mode.
I think i can try again in the new version...
thanks, or failing that the defaults for items that can't retain settings should be more neutral perhaps
Just submitted the new release (v1.2.0), and here is the changelog:
v1.2.0
* Important: Fixed a bug when the phone number in Contacts includes non-digital chars, which maybe cause the daemo to block nothing
* Added support for MMS blocking
* Added options for ingoring/removing local country code when matching and importing
* Improved for keeping settings when upgraded
* Improved for the appearance of app icon when notificating

Hey matt - i applied the update to 1.2.0 and things went a little weird... after rebooting, ALL my messages disappeared... So i set the application to allow all messages, rebooted again & they reappeared... it seems the app hid all messages, whether or not they matched they met the blacklist rules... Right now, rules are disabled...
Aim: to block texts from 1 number.
Action: Add number to Blacklist, Set Easy profile to "Deny Blacklist".
Result: Still get texts from that black list number.

Not sure if i should be doing this differently?
Thanks
Do you still have the SMS in your inbox? AFAIK there was a bug in the app where in you have to delete any SMS from the number you wish to block from your inbox for the blacklist to work on that number - I just don't know if this bug is still there in the latest build.

I personally have not experienced this after I upgraded to the latest version from v1.1.1
any chance of this being ported to maemo5?..the app looks amazing..and for n900 we only have weak substitutes and not one single app with all this blocking features..tks.

There also was a 'bug' or feature where SMS's weren't blocked if the message window for that contact was open (which would often be true if you sent yourself an SMS to test the blocking... )
