guys,
you're missing something in jutley's post. he/she is in "Mars". it's a lot cooler there so there's the chance that the N900 won't heat up that fast.
Thats it my friend you hit the nail on the head I live in cydonia mars atmospheric temps fluctuate here between - 100 degrees -150 so yea I really can overclock my n900 @1.15ghz it's the only way to stop the actual internals from freezing here.I am Waiting for the new mars rover curiosity http://www.nasa.gov/mission_pages/msl/index.html to arrive on August 5th 2012 with new Bluedream batteries supply we hear they run very well and we are very interested in Estels new back covers keep up the great work guys mars over and out.
a couple of reboots in over three months of heavy use (always while browsing very heavy web pages), no issues with video playback (xvid, mplayer, tv-out) or recording (not so much of this one, really).
Here again... The charge of my previous post, LASTED 6.5 days only enabling "ORIENTATION LOCK" and with a normal use of the phone (calls, sms, some web browsing)
How is it possible????
There must be something strange...
With the screen off, are the acceleration sensors disabled or not?

The sensor should not be enabled when the screen is locked, but who knows
but i have noticed that my N900 temperature is much high(i can feel it)while charging and also when i see conky it show 500Mhz but xterminal shows(kernel-config show) min 125 max 600
??????
