That is normal feature that you get downgrade disallowed error if you flash wrong variant. You cannot downgrade to older timestamp.
You have to wait for possible PR1.3 and stay with your original variant, or only flash 001 vanilla variant (if you want to be able to reflash it in the future).
As you still can(?) flash 523.2 then you could try to get that working, ie adding --erase-user-data=secure and also flash the matching emmc image, in theory should boot up the device.
