it's a bit awkward having to set the freq over again after each of aforementioned...
thats unsafe, just opinion, but nice idea

True, its not a good idea to implement it in that way without a piece of code that checks for a crash or an unexpected reboot.

Meaning that if you reboot the phone yourself then the frequency is automatically reapplied, BUT if the phone crashes and you restart the phone, a SAFEMODE event happens which stops the last frequency being applied, then you must re enter the frequency and voltage manually.

This is to avoid reboot loops under unstable frequencies/voltages where the only option to recover your device is a reflash.

This method is implemented into the N900's power-kernel module.

I'm sorry if this is a noob question, but how do I go about installing this w/ the open mode kernel? Since I'm already using the open kernel, I shouldn't need inception, right?

I didn't say I'm dissapointed about my N9 , it runs very well at 1350mhz with 1.3375v and sr off , battery lasts almost the same like default , now I'll try 1.325v .

Well, try to read as far as the 2nd sentence of the first post at least.

Well I made the code open source so we don't have to guess if I made some mistake, you can always take a look...

Its very unlikely that its your code

Most likely he has an app or something random has happened which causes his device to respond differently. Computers nowadays can be so flipping temperamental!

They are so similar to women, one thing could be perfect to her, then the updated version of that thing could be the worst thing in life. Unpredictable!

I'd tried using Aegis fixed origin but it doesn't do anything. When installing the package, it says that the package optimizer was denied because "-- origin ' ' does not allow it"

<Sniper_swe> oc gui working good with open mode kernel. had ti use aegis fixed origin to install for some reason
<CreamyG31337> yeah we use some extra security when installing, itsnotabigtruck understands better. i will ask him about this
<Sniper_swe> okay. no biggi tho. noticed when indtslling first file tjst aegis complaining on origin so answer to proboem was easy. might be good to let open mode users know to use fixed origin when installing thanks again!

(sorry that's all I know. sounds like it should have worked)

Should I try installing inception then? Will it still work at all if I'm using open mode?
