Even if the N950 was released in a mature form it would not have made much difference. (although I would have been in ecxtasy!) Nokia tried to distniguish itself from competition by going with windows. Maybe they have some hope by integrating phone with windows 8 experience but I doubt they become the impact player they once were. I do hope they succeed though just to exist as another option and competion is good. Hopefully some manufacture will pick up where the n950 left off...
It depends on the price. And again how much they announce it.

16 Gb N9 can now be bought for around 300EUR here in sweden. If people know how much value for money they get buying this device it could sell as hell. Same for N950.

But there is no marketing. And the shitboard prefer to KILL the company instead of selling more non WP devices.

    > Yes, this is why HTC ONE X has a quadcore processor, (Well quadcore for The rest of the world) Dual for the US, anyways sorry im getting off my point, HTC one x has a quadcore processor because it needs it to ran android effectively with a pure experience.

    >Yes haters android is laggy. mind you, Xperia S rans it nicely. it was Inevitable that Nokia would fall, i think they knew that...
The problem i had with S60 is that-- it's OK, but once you saw the iphone, my goodness, S60 looks Old, the status bar needed to be changed and i have no idea why nokia took so long to see that. i mean, they even put that S60 status bar in Anna, goodness goodness.

another problem i have with Nokia is the way in which they make updates available, it's not very good, having used Sony ericsson for a long time. i did not have that problem.

the Nokia 808 is a place holder,,, to buy nokia time,,, while they try some Magic to get peoples attention again, 808 was just to get your attention.

sadly unless Nokia-ms change their tactics they will not move very far quickly. and they need to revamp their image.

Like when HTC stopped using windows Mobile and started using android with HTC Hero, OH MY GOODNESS, i remember how the cnet UK people made such a fuss about it. and in the end it did save HTC, but sadly, i see them going down soon.
their phones all look the same, and sense is getting Blotted.. *and they made too many smartphones. too fast.. Like what happened to Motorola and over using the Razr design over and over and over again. Like nokia is starting to do with the N9 design, when will people learn*

Hmmm... this sounds like an argument pro-Nokia/MS. If they can get 'silky-smooth'(tm) experience on single cores sounds like android is headed for a big barrier in computing speed/power consumption, unless they remove the bloat(which equals rewrite android from start as in symbian->wp move, abandon the overloaded cow for new solutions)

At this point, I don't think you can spell out how much Nokia is losing right now, but certain jack*****es will never understand this, subsidies are subsidies. If I were to sell someone a Hyundai for a dollar, they would take it over a BMW that is selling at $200. The Hyundai will work fine, but I would still rather have the BMW.

Also, I am hoping the admin here ban Lumiaman, since his/her/its posts don't bring anything to the table on any of the discussions he/she/it has trolled on throughout Maemo.org.

    Ban him/her/it please.

Are you ******ed? Of course they are making money. Nokia has no presence in the US and this is their chance to establish a beechead till W8 comes. What is so difficult to understand. Taliban phones don't sell in US. lumia does. You are smarter than that boy

What a banal, ignorant statement. Hopefully this will help get you banned, troll.
