    What they tried to do but failed miserably. Samsung and Tizen are not far better yet. But atheist they seems to invest more than Nokia Intel. Just look at the big money for best apps...

    I think it could be cool. But the road to success is loooong...

    No it's not, it's a completely diff. set of libraries/sw_stack...
    Many of the same org's/co's that were involved in MeeGo, & similar administrative/organisational processes, but that's where similarities begin/end.
    From a sw/tech POV, it's not based on MeeGo at all...

    They've had a far longer crack at it than Nokia/Intel ever did...
    Resources for MeeGo began dropping dramatically about 13-months after it 1st started, after Nokia made it clear it'd walk away soon.
    And the entire project was completely dead (handset side was dead much earlier) about 6mth later, after Intel clarified it's position.
