I'm a very happy owner of a N9 (and a N900) and my wife would like to change her photo to get a N9 too. But she make actually heavy use of Whatsapp, including sending and receiving pictures and short videos. I'm very glad to see people here working hard on getting Wazapp fully functional, so my questions are:
Does anyone now approximately when will it be possible to send/receive pictures/videos with Wazapp ?
Is there anything I can do (I have no specific programming skills) to help in this way ?
we can receive pic/vids with wazapp unfortunately cant send files
For those still hanging on the registration problem "Failed Too Many" .. After a lot of trials and a lot of reading in this post I finally fixed it according to an earlier post in this thread.
1. Reinstall Wazapp on your N9 (and your SIM card is in N9)
2. Install Whatsapp on another phone, without a SIM card.
3. Register Whatsapp on the other phone (in my case was iPhone)
4. During the registration process, you will receive an SMS with the code on your N9.
5. Turn off Wifi or Phone on your other phone.
6. Try to register Wazapp on N9 now, after it fails, choose to enter code manually.
7. Enter the code you received in the SMS.
8. You're inside Wazapp finally :-)
It worked for me, and hope it works for you.
Don't forget to delete Whatsapp from the other phone

Hi Cepi you have done a great job, I see a lot of people happy with the new features.
I have 1 issue i can't find the client zip, i copied to the root of my N9 but it is not there when i look with Filebox. When i search via Filebox i see a client folder but this is not the one i guess because is contains different files when i compare it with the one from you. Am 1 doing something wrong?
After using for awhile, overall performance is smoother but the alert doesn't seem to follow the system settings, and it interupts music playback
The file receiving mechanism didn't work for me. I can press download and see the thumbnail but after downloading, I do not know where the picture saved to nor able to see anything in the gallery.
Other than that, I am pretty happy with everything

If the deb file he posted reports any bugs in your device, send the log.txt file to Cepi in a private message. He answers as soon as he can help you, belive it! Also, many of you are posting the same questions, please read at least the 12 previous pages before posting. That's exactly how people screw us all up for not following the instructions!
still the same problem my wazapp is not complete i can sync my contacts use chat 1 person only, i cant change my profile, status, picture, or have group conversation or forward something i receive.

Shut it and go get a droid/bb/iphone if you want that stuff from your WhatsApp client..
