    I installed cepi version.
It works. But after a while, it can't send(red dot) or receive message.
And it's strange that I press blue icon(share location), go back, the message sent out successfully(green dot).

I need to press blue icon each time before I send..

    This worked for me

    1) I renamed the db file by adding the letter "A" to the beginning the downloaded Cepi's version.
    2) After I started Cepi's version successfully and checked it was working
    3) I quit out of it and went into filebox and renamed the new db file by adding the letter "B" to the beginning
    4) I then renamed my original db file by removing the "A" at the beginning
    5) I went back into Wazzap my previous conversations were there and I was able to use the new functionality.

It still uses a lot of processing power which kills the battery very quickly but it does work, pretty well apart from that.

was about to post an update because i made a backup to the .wazapp folder and installed cepi's version over it. apparently the database got updated to the latest schema

erm... you don't have to do so much work if you have access to the terminal but if it works for you then it should be fine

Now I just hope the schema used by tgalal and cepi is somewhat compatible LOL

btw thanks @cepi for bringing the updates from dev branch, new version is looking great here

found some werid behavior on current wazapp cepi version (2.6.5)

if you have more than 10 chat list (11,12, etc), you chatlist will disappear upon new chat initiated...might need to quit wazapp , or click on any contact at contact list to make the chat list re-appear back

easiest way to register to wazapp!!
No need to switch the simcard from n9 to another device.
    borrow a symbian/android/iphone/windowsphone/bb.
open whatsapp, while registering give the phone number of the sim u have in ur N9. u'll get the code directly to N9. enter the code manually in wazapp and enjoy!
it worked for me hope it'll work for u as well!
let whatsapp block wazapp registration! but there is no one who can block this amazing community!!

    Cheers!!

    First i downloaded this File ( CepiPerez-wazapp-0.2.6-3-gcda89e3.tar )

    Then I Followed this : --- >

    requirements:

    1. latest official Wazapp installed ( http://wazapp.im/ )
    2. Filebox installed ( http://store.ovi.com/content/204982/download )
    3. N9 QTweak installed and hack H activated ( http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=80600 )

    steps:

    1. quit Wazapp from within the app (menu -> quit)
    2. delete /home/user/.wazapp/*.db file (using Filebox or term)
    3. download latest dev .zip from wazapp github ( https://github.com/tgalal/wazapp/zipball/dev )
    4. extract .zip on Your pc
    5. delete wazapp & wazapp_init files from that client folder
    6. now zip only /client folder with all subfolders & structure
    7. transfer it to Your N9
    8. open rooted Filebox (password: rootme) and move that .zip to /opt/waxmppplugin/bin/wazapp folder
    9. extract .zip in that folder accepting to overwrite all existing files
    10. open terminal, enter devel-su, then rootme as the password
    11. execute command: apt-get install python-dateutil and wait ( Packagename was wrong in previous description)
    12. execute: cd /opt/waxmppplugin/bin/wazapp
    13. execute: chmod 755 *
    14. exit terminal
    15. start Wazapp from Your homescreen
    (16. if Wazapp doesn't start -> reboot + step 15)

I did the first steps, but at step 7 when i copy the zipfile to my N9, i can't it anywhere with the Filebox (step 8), i tried this with a client.zip and client.rar file. The files are there when i connect my N9 to my pc.
Does anyone has a idea what i am doing wrong? Maybe the extension.zip/.rar is wrong? Do i need to use another extension?

    Help Please,

    Thanks
